Terms of Service

The agreement between users and Meander VPN.

Updated 18 August 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Liberna Labs Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at Grzybowska 87, 00-844 Warsaw, Poland (KRS 0001254470, NIP 5273228302, REGON 545310572) (“Meander,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of the Meander VPN applications and related services (the “Service”).

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. What the Service is

Meander provides VPN connections using the WireGuard protocol. The Service includes per-device connection management, connection-protection features, split tunneling, and optional DNS-based content filtering. The implementation and availability of individual features may vary by operating system because of platform limitations.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of a material reduction in the Service’s core functionality.

3. Accounts

You may register using a randomly generated login ID without providing an email address or create a recoverable account using an email address. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • Activity that occurs through your account.
  • Notifying us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

If you register without an email address and lose your credentials, we may have no way to verify that you own the account or help you recover it. This is a consequence of the privacy-preserving account option.

You may manage multiple devices, subject to the device limit shown for your subscription or pass.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate applicable law.
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Distribute malware or access, interfere with, or attack systems without authorization.
  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk communications.
  • Distribute child sexual abuse material or exploit minors.
  • Circumvent technical, device, subscription, or fair-use limits.
  • Resell or provide access to the Service without our written permission.

We do not monitor the content of VPN traffic. We may suspend or terminate an account if we become aware through valid legal process or other reliable means that it is being used in violation of these Terms.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and payment

We offer recurring subscriptions and fixed-duration, non-renewing passes. The applicable duration, price, currency, taxes, features, and device limits are shown before purchase.

Recurring subscriptions

A recurring subscription renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

You must cancel through the platform used to purchase the subscription. Depending on the purchase method, this may be Meander account settings, an app store, or another payment platform. Deleting the application or closing your Meander account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by a third party.

Payment processing

Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited and Stripe Technology Europe, Limited. Cryptocurrency payments are processed by UAB “Decentralized”, trading as CoinGate. We do not store complete card numbers.

30-day money-back guarantee

You may request a refund of your first payment within 30 days after purchase by contacting [email protected]. This guarantee applies in addition to, and does not limit, any refund or withdrawal rights provided by applicable law.

EU and EEA withdrawal rights

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you generally have 14 days from entering into a distance contract to withdraw from it without giving a reason. If you ask us to begin providing the Service during that period and then exercise your right to withdraw, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the Service provided before withdrawal, where permitted by law. If the Service is fully performed during the withdrawal period, you may lose the right to withdraw only where you gave prior express consent to full performance and acknowledged that consequence.

Instructions for exercising the right to withdraw are provided during checkout. The 30-day money-back guarantee remains available even where the statutory withdrawal right does not apply or has ended.

6. Service availability

We use reasonable care and skill in providing the Service and aim to keep it reliable and secure. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service may be unavailable because of maintenance, security response, network conditions, third-party infrastructure, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Internet services and destination websites may block VPN traffic, and connection speed or availability may vary by location, network, device, and protocol restrictions.

7. Intellectual property

The Meander name, logo, applications, and other Service materials are owned by Liberna Labs Sp. z o.o. or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable right to install and use the applications for their intended purpose while you are entitled to access the Service.

You may not copy, modify, redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the applications except to the extent permitted by applicable law. Third-party and open-source components included in the applications remain subject to their respective license terms.

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or restricts any mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you accepted these Terms, losses caused by your breach of these Terms, or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or conduct of third-party websites and services that you access through the Service.

9. Suspension, termination, and account closure

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Account closure and personal-data deletion are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Closing an account does not entitle you to a refund except under the 30-day money-back guarantee or where required by law.

We may suspend or terminate your account for a material violation of these Terms. We will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the violation where appropriate. We may act without prior notice where reasonably necessary to address active abuse, a security risk, legal requirements, or harm to the Service or others.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination. Provisions which by their nature must continue to apply, including those concerning intellectual property, liability, disputes, and amounts owed, survive termination.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, applicable law, security requirements, or our business practices. We will give at least 30 days’ advance notice of a material change that adversely affects your rights through the website or available account communications.

Where a shorter period is reasonably necessary to comply with law or address an urgent security issue, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service before the change takes effect.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence.

Please contact [email protected] first so that we can try to resolve a complaint. Disputes may be brought before the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law. Consumers may also use any out-of-court complaint and redress procedures available to them under applicable law.
